Volunteers are essential to achieving MAI Family Services’ mission.

We are always looking for new volunteers to become part of our family. If you are interested in joining, please complete the prospective volunteer form and return it to us via US mail or email. Our Volunteer coordinator will contact you on receiving the completed form.  

Our volunteers participate in a number of ways including:
  • Fundraising

  • Grant research and writing

  • Casework or counseling services (professional training required)

  • Interpretation and/or translation

  • Networking

  • Newsletter and material development

  • Organizing and manning information booths

  • Organizing workshops and/or arranging for speakers to address community issues or educational needs

  • Passing out community education materials

  • Providing transportation to clients

  • Publicizing services and events

  • Updating resources

  • Visiting clients at hospitals, shelters, nursing homes, etc.

  • Website Maintenance

  • Youth Outreach
