Free Legal Aid Clinic
On first Friday of each month, Family law Attorney will be available
at the MAI Family Services office in Livonia to answer any legal questions.

Interpretation and Accompaniments
Caseworkers and/or Volunteers can accompany clients if needed to various places (e.g. hospitals, courts, banks, DHS, police departments etc.) to offer support and provide translation or interpretation. They will assist clients in navigating the legal and bureaucratic system by helping with paperwork.
Transitional housing service
Temporary emergency housing assistance is provided to victims of Domestic Violence.

Community education workshops
Our workshops are structured based on the research study done by University of Michigan, School of Social Work in a project titled
"Shanti Project" to study incidences of Domestic Abuse among Indians.
In addition, we conduct periodic workshops based on current topics of interest.
