Asmi - I Prevail was a great success! A fabulous show, a great audience and a wonderful team of dedicated volunteers made this possible. Over 470 people attended the show which received raving reviews from one and all. Our heartfelt thanks to the artists and our volunteers. And lastly but not least, our sincere gratitude to our audience who showed their support by being present and showing their trust in the work we do at MaiFS. Pictures and video clips will be posted shortly.

We are sorry if we gave the impression that the program was to start at 3:30. The program was NOT delayed. Our start time of 3:30 p.m. was for networking so that we can appreciate our Indian businesses who had booths outside in the main lobby.

Mai Family Services was established in 1986 to provide assistance to Asian Indian families and individuals in need. Since it was formed, Mai Family Services has expanded to offer services to all South Asians in Michigan.
In an effort to provide Prevention and Intervention Services, MaiFS fights against the Domestic Violence (DV) and Mental Health issues through community outreach and education programs in addition to offering confidential counseling.
Our case workers offer nonjudgmental, empathetic and culturally sensitive counseling and support. If needed, a case worker or a volunteer will accompany clients to provide support, interpretation or assistance in navigating through the legal system by helping with paperwork. Transitional Housing Assistance is provided to clients of domestic violence (DV). Referral services are provided to Emergency shelters, Family Counselors, Therapists, Psychologists & Psychiatrists, Family Law & Immigration attorneys, General Physicians, Job training/ Employment assistance, and Social services.
MaiFS runs a Free Legal Aid Clinic where Family Law Attorney is made available at our office in Livonia.
